The jet flight physician is responsible for providing patients with professional medical care and monitoring their medical condition during all AEMS (Airplane Emergency Medical Services) missions performed on behalf of Rega. This applies explicitly from the time the patient is put into their care to the time when they are handed over to the medical staff responsible at the destination hospital.
General requirements
- Swiss state examination or equivalent state-recognised diploma
- Swiss work and residence permits
- Driving licence, category B
- Place of work: Rega Center, Zurich Airport
Medical requirements
- At least 4 years' clinical experience
- Preferred specialist training: anaesthesiology or intensive care medicine
Language requirements
- Very good knowledge of German, both spoken and written
- Good knowledge of English
- Spoken knowledge of French, Italian and/or Spanish

- Ability to work under pressure, both physically and mentally
- Assertiveness
- Ability to work in a team, flexibility, reliability
- Travelling experience
