When an avalanche strikes, every minute counts. In order to be able to locate people buried under the snow as quickly as possible, the helicopter crews regularly practise for real-life emergencies. In particular, the use of search equipment demands enormous concentration and precise coordination on the part of the various rescuers. In our video, we accompany the crew from the St. Gallen base on a training exercise.
